Interest Check & Idea Thread

Not sure where to post this.

But I was wondering what is a quest. What is it? How does it function?
Its a story where at certain points one or more decisions are offered to the readers (usually, but not always, with write-in answers allowed). The thread discusses and votes on a course of action, which is how the story proceeds.

Such choices can be anything from whether the protagonist answers "yes" or "no" to a question to a whole turn's worth of moves in a civilization-building strategy game.

But I was wondering what is a quest. What is it? How does it function?

A quest is a type of story where each chapter ends with a series of options, and the people in the thread reading the quest vote on which option for the character to do.

You vote using these [square brackets] and you put an X in the middle to signify your choice.

[ ] Go Left
[ ] Go Right
[X] Go forwards
[ ] Go backwards.

See?

Considering how open world the game of Kenshi is with various chargen choices, would it make a fun bleak quest?

I'd say so, yeah. Kenshi is a terrible place to live, filled with equally terrible people. Carve out a slice of paradise in the wasteland? Or be just as bad?
Sounds great and when it's a game that expressly has players start from the bottom that bad ends are guaranteed from day one, the quest can always go back to another chargen choice in a world of slavers, killer robots that love to wear human skin and the theocratic xenophobic human nation it's going to be just great.

I've been considering running an Oban: Star Racers quest. Now, understandably, QQ isn't... the most ideal place to run a non-NSFW quest, but i figured it might be interesting to run three separate divisions of the tournament, hosted one each on SB, SV, and QQ, each running parallel with the possibility of cross-forum competition if you each make it to Oban itself.

As an interest check, would people prefer something more mechanically complex, or mechanically light? Naturally, there'll be some customization, such as your vehicle, either way. I'd also be running it far in the past or the future, since Humans are too plain white bread when considering what the Oban 'verse has available. I'm willing to take race-concept suggestions before the first post goes up, if enough interest is shown to be worth attempting the quest here.

maybe this is the wrong place, but would anyone be interested in some sort of quest about grave robbers, badly-named italian servant girls, and semi-surrealist omnibenevolent maids? possibly also a dash of slang i make up as i go along. i've never really done a quest before, so if i do go ahead with this, expect very low quality.

the basic summary is this:

Your name is Maria Vespucci, and you are a servant girl in the manor of one Lady Benevento, an eccentric noblewoman. Your official duties involve keeping the rooms clean, and tending to the many guests who come to visit the manor. In practice, however, the Lady has you running a wide variety of odd jobs and small investigations to indulge her curiosity. You've been thinking of quitting your job, but you're unsure what other employment you could find on short notice with your very limited skill set. The Lady Benevento is clearly kenned, too, so upsetting her by quitting may be unwise. Her requests have been growing increasingly erratic, however, and have been putting you in very close proximity to the Resurrection-Men's part of the city, so your hand may be forced very soon.

idk. not sure where i'd go with this. still, curious if anyone would be interested.

EDIT as of 2023: This went nowhere. Onto a different project!

Pass the popcorn.

And well, it's probably fine. After all, it'd make for a good try at running a quest.

I wanted to ask, has anyone run a multiplayer quest?

Like as in the "players" are different sites, and two quests running in the same continuity, concurrently?

Maybe you could even pit them against each other?

Hell you could take this concept another step further and have a third quest on another site where the questers act as QM for the other two quests

Someone did. Then they cheated on the voting results because they didn't like the result. Don't remember what happened afterwards.

People have before. The problem I've had with it is that when the results on the other site are drastically different than the site you're reading it on, it feels very random. There's a lot less site overlap than you think.

Hm. Random idea: "I Got Isekai'd But My Cheat Power Is Just Streaming Bribes And All My Followers Are Perverts!"

Instead of regular 1-1 voting, the players offer the character money/XP to go with their request/suggestion- and they can see the 'chat' as they go. Bit of bookkeeping on the QM's part to keep track of each poster's money, possibly reset after a (long) in-game time, maybe a month. Maybe bonuses for Omake and such.

But the final choice to accept or deny a request or suggestion is up to the character. You can raise or pool the pay to tempt them, but if it's not their bag they may still refuse. At the same time, they can take multiple requests, so you might get both 'masturbate for the camera' and 'check out the spaceport' at the same time.

And by offering suggestions they'll take, you boost their XP/money so they grow in power and can handle greater quests.

Possibly in a CoC/TiTS setting, sort of.

Basically Lewd Streaming Quest.

Thoughts?

It sounds ok in theory, but when you think of details, it sounds like a nightmare. What's the cap people can 'donate'? What prevents people from just donating that every vote? What if every player donates their cap every update, etc.

... How do you "pay" the character?

I'd probably set up every poster with X amount (100? 10k? Depends on the in-game economy I go with, what leveling system, etc.) and keep track of the names on a spreadsheet. I thought of using post counts, but that'd be a bit unfair to newer people- though definitely make sure to not let completely new accounts vote. I expect people to occasionally call in friends that aren't interested in the thread, but calling people they know from elsewhere I'd draw the line- and of course avoiding people thinking they can sockpuppet to get more voting power.

Part of why I was thinking a whole 'in-game' month, so they have to somewhat ration their shit or run out completely- either letting other players control the votes or leaving the character high-and-dry until the rollover.

And there's no guarantee of the character accepting, either, so they might not lose anything.

Bookkeeping may indeed be a pain, yes, as I said.

EDIT: ...Dangit XF2, how'd I end up in the SFW thread?

Would anybody theoretically be interested in an Anakin Skywalker quest?

Would anybody theoretically be interested in an Anakin Skywalker quest?
Depends on the premise.
I'm personally sick and tired on the Anakin as Sith quests, and the Jedi one is ehhhh.

Perhapd Anakin as Matukai or one of the more neutral Force Sects would be more interesting.

I've been toying with the idea of a Research Quest where players vote on backers, location, and chargen to make a researcher that's gradually going to move into Sci-Fi/Fantasy subjects.

Like, Mafia backers, small lab in the American wilderness, and researching pseudoscience topics until hitting on Magic-like esoteric energy.

Notable features would be every named character having a unique stat, and random competencies that would let them open new avenues of research.

Say,

Sarah Ackers
Phys 3
Will 1
Sci 1
Paranoia 4

Biometrics
Firearms
Physical Security

So Sarah would be bad for normal research, with a Science of 1, but great for leading specific projects related to securing the base, and is loyal with a low Will, and a physical instrument with a Phys of 3.

Paranoia 4 would give access to projects that let her investigate people and uncover conspiracies, or just give her advantage on rolls relating to suspicion and securing things.

Later on we might take advantage of her low Will, and therefore a low chance of rebellion, and augment her with a magical third eye and bionic limbs, plus give her access to the Whispers stat, and suddenly she's hearing the soul of the world whisper conspiracies into her ear.

I have this new quest which is basically written like a normal fanfic except that readers can write in actions for any of the main characters per turn and I'll try to work in as many as I can on a first-come first-serve basis. Not sure what type of Quest that is, it doesn't have little boxes to check or anything, but it's definitely Quest-ish!

Corporate Greed Knows No Bounds

This thread seems kinda dead, but we don't seem to have a general NSFW story ideas/plotbunny thread, or if we do, I can't find it, so I can only post here.

Finally getting around to the ideology DLC in Rimworld has given me such ideas for a story/quest. partially inspired by the 'A world of your own' quest here on QQ, where a lottery winner bought a planet and a bunch of biomodded slavegirls and set himself up a little empire.

Start with a discription of Lord Maxamillion Lordsworth, billionaire cult-leader.
Talk about how he got rich, how he established his cult narrate, ect ect.
Go on to explain how he's here, aboard a ship heading for the outer rim with his harem of ladies. Explain about the nature of his cult.

Basically, it's an ideology sect from rimworld's DLC, tenants are patriarchy, nudism (for women) multiple wives (for men), breeding faith, men are leaders, ect ect.

His first convert is the 20yo heiress of a gajillion dollar glitterworld corporation. She's a willing convert, she's rebelling against her mother or something, she and Max were boyfriend/girlfriend before any of this cult stuff kicked off, and this whole thing is at least half her idea.
Even the brainwashing. Maybe especially the brainwashing.
The Heiress is a clever girl. Educated, intelligent. But she's arrogant. She knows that she's heading to the edge of the known galaxy where life is wild and pirates roam. She knew that she was putting on a brainwashing helmet that was set to rewrite her thought patterns.
She 'knows' theoretically that she's signed on to go build a homestead on an uninhabited planet, it's going to be dangerous, it's going to be hard work, and there's a good chance that they'll all starve to death come first winter.
But it's not like it'll happen to her. Things like that only happen to peasants, becuase they're poor and stupid.
Right?

It's the mentality of someone who's never been hit, who's never gone hungry, who's never wanted for anything.
She thinks she knows what's comeing, and she thinks that she can handle it.
She has no idea.

The second convert is a semi-famous network celebrety. A thirty-something worldly adventurer. She's traveled across the stars, seeking out some of the toughest and most inhospitable locations known to man or alien.
Maxamillion and the heiress picked her out specifically for her skillset, and her conversion wasn't willing.
Drugs in a wineglass and then the brain-reprogramming helmet.

The third girl is a starstruck teenaged idiot.
She's reasonable clever, in most situations, but she's the kind of gal who would (did) get suckered into a sketchy cult just because a couple of famous people were in it.
She can cook, she can clean, she went camping with her dad once or twice, and she's pretty enough.
Mostly the heiress picked her up as 'The help'

Then there's Maxamillion Lordsworth himself. Avid hunter (amateur) hiker (amateur) mountain climber (in simulations )and sharpshooter (against stationary targets)
Having three girls be brainwashed into thinking that he's the strongest and smartest guy in the universe has gone to his head, he actually thinks that he's That Guy, but he's not. The kind of loser who unironically refers to himself as 'an alpha male'
He's probably going to die in his first week. Or at least he would, if the toilet stall he was in didn't just get blasted by the first warhead of a pirate ambush, instantly reducing him to atoms mid-shit.

As the transport ship begins to respond to the sudden attack, the passangers begin to panic.
The call goes out, 'all hands to lifeboats'
As they make their mad-dash to their assigned escape-pod, each of the three girls grabs what they think is most important.
The Heiress grabs her glittertech AI-core, which contains the total sum of technological knowledge required to build a thriving community. Sadly this datacore has, unbeknownst to her, been damaged by the sudden attack, and will requirelong hours of effort to unscramble any data held within. (research action)
The Net-personality is a practical woman, she dashes for Lordsworth's locker, grabbing his bedroll and stuffing it full of as many prepak survivial meals as she dares spend the time scooping up. She also snatches up the hunting rifle that he was so proud of.

The third girl, the 'ordinary peasant girl' has other priorities. She saw the section of the ship that Max was in get obliterated and is fully cognizant of his death. She is also still mentally processing the massive male-supremacist brain-rewrite that she has recently undergone.
As a result, she grabs the single most vital thing she can think of.
The nearest man who can tell her what to do.

Now we meet the POV character, Dave.
Dave is a scrawny 22yo junior ship mechanic aboard the passenger liner. He has no idea what's going on, and despite his useful-sounding job-title, he's functionally a janitor. He's never been camping, never had a girlfriend and can count the number of times he's even been on a planet on both hands.
Somehow he finds himself being pulled away from his assigned post (and assigned escape-pod) towards another lifeboat assigned to passenger-group 28b. The girl pulling him along is babbling something fierce and he can't really understand her, but she seems to think that it's very important that he evacuate in their pod instead of his own, and frankly he's not really feeling like complaining.
The ship feels like it's coming apart at the seems and his own assigned lifeboat is a good bit further away than hers is.

What is it they say, 'any port in a storm'?

They crash down in a desert area on a nearby planet. Partially terraformed, breathable atmo, drinkable water. Potentially habitable?
Then Dave has it explained to him that he's now the leader of a patriarchal sex-cult, by virtue of being the only male they could find.

Gina the adventuress grabbed Max's rifle, but one of the tenants of their 'religion' is that women aren't allowed to use guns.
This is particularly stupid, because Gina is a trained markswoman and actually accomplished hunter who shoots bears for fun.
And now she's having to try to walk Dave through the operation of a rifle so that he can bring down some kind of elk, because the nanites that rewrote her brain won't let her do it herself.

Jade the heiress grabbed the AI-core, but she needs to essentially sold crypto-puzzles in her head in order to actually make progress decoding any infomation from it, and until she does the only technology it will give them access to is Neolithic era.

Tara, the 'normal girl' is currently having a panic attack.

Tenants

Major: (involatile, cannot be broken)
  • Only men can be leaders
  • Only men can use guns
  • A man can (and should) have as many wives as he can get.

Minor (can be broken, but obeying these tenants feels 'right' and going against them feels 'wrong', causing mechanical morale bonuses/penalities)

  • women shouldn't wear clothes (they can if it's necessary, but they feel bad about it)
  • Women should cook, clean, sew and make babies.
  • A woman should always be sexually available for her man.
  • A woman should be obedient and submissive, and never question her man.

Really, given how direct and how stupid these commandments are, it's kinda surprising that Tera got suckered into this cult willingly. She must be really weak to rich/famous people telling her to imitate them.
Also it's kinda shocking that Max managed to convince Jade to willingly agree to these as the founding principles of their religion, and to accept brainwashing to enforce them.
"Actually, most of these were my idea."
"What."

Potential new recruit down the line

Kali: Tribal woman. Vicious raider, shows up to attack the protagonist's camp/colony.
She's not an adherent of Maximillian's dumb cult, but she is part of a tribal society that reveres great warriors, and believes that the defeated should obey their conqueror (mostly because they themselves go around conquering people)
Naturally, Dave Gloriously Defeats Her In Single Combat. (Read: Hides around the other side of a doorway and clocks her with a wooden stool when she chases him through.)
As a twist, she's actually fully aware that David is a soundly unimpressive fighter who just got lucky and suckerpunched her, but she's violently in denial about it. If he's not a Great Warrior then that means that she got defeated by some loser, which makes her a double-loser.

As a result, her honour demands that she stab anybody who tries to downplay this pimply janitor's 'Grand Deeds' as 'just luck'
Even if that person is Dave himself.

As you probably gathered, the basic jist is that dave is a fairly unimpressive specimen, physically and mentally, but multiple people's lives (not least his own) are reliant on him stepping up and acting like a leader, because he's the only person present who hasn't been brainwashed into believing that their gender makes them unsuitable for leadership roles.

Edit: Gina isn't allowed to use a gun, but she's fit as hell and quickly fashioned herself a spear. She's basically an amazon.

Got the first post for my Orga Fighter Quest ready. Decided to make it the "Angelic Savior" Version, so they are locked to being an Angelic type Module. Let me know what you guys think and if there's anything I can improve on:

The world has changed. An unknown enemy has released a virus that turns women into nubile, battle-minded creatures of destruction! However, hope is not lost! A method of taking back the world has been created! The Orga Module! And you...are the newest Orga Fighter to be created. Episode 0: Character Creation

The world of Veritas. It is a planet similar to earth with many of the same animals, plants, elements and otherwise upon it. This includes the species many of us are familiar with: Humans. However, this world has one major difference that separates it from our own:

Human men only make up 1% of the population of earth.

The vast majority of the human population is made up of women. Due to this, the societies of Veritas developed in many different ways when compared to our own. While strife was still present for much of the planet's history, the current governing body of Veritas has managed to rule for decades without any major internal or external strife causing it to fall. Though with women outnumbering men in this world, the way society views and treats the two genders has shifted significantly.

Women were generally seen as more "expendable" due to their larger numbers. Sure, they were the other half required to create life, but if out of 1,000,000 women, 900,000 die, that still leaves 100,000 to hopefully continue the species with the remaining 10,000 men. There would need to be plenty of "sharing" between the men but it could be done.

Meanwhile, if out of the 10,000 men in that group, 9,000 died, that would leave 1,000 left to repopulate the planet. And that is not enough even with 1,000,000 women waiting to be impregnated.

Due to this fact the two genders were given different roles in society. Women were in control of the vast majority of societal institutions and jobs, usually alongside other women who were expected to keep society moving. Meanwhile, men were generally seen as babymakers and little else. While they were "protected" due to their low numbers, they weren't really offered the same opportunities and positions that their female counterparts were. This was the case for most of the early parts of Veritas' history, but as human civilization advanced and the average age of death grew higher and higher, this began to change. Men began to push for a "fairer" society. One where they were treated with more equality in gaining positions and jobs. Where they were no longer seen as simple breeding stock or househusbands. Where they were seen as what they were; Humans able to stand side-by-side with their other halves.

And, for a time, it was working. As Veritas began to explore the stars and began to study transdimentional sciences, society took its first steps towards seeing men as more than just walking sperm banks. Towards giving them the opportunity to be seen as women's equals.

Then the virus happened.

An unknown virus from the depths of space suddenly struck the people of Veritas. It started by targeting the greatest minds and most dominant force of Veritas; Women. A contagion known as the Morphogenic Universal Species Contaminant.

MUSC.

Those infected with MUSC would suffer from extremely virulent mutations, turning them into monsters in human skin. All inhibitions and rational thought would be replaced by the irrepressible urge to do two things and two things only:

Kill humans and breed.

MUSC struck Arcology after Arcology, turning them into bloody battlefields as Veritas' staunch military clashed with a legion of battle-crazed supersoldiers wielding magic and more at their disposal in a battle for the fate of the world itself. While genetic therapy saved millions of women from becoming sex-addled monsters seeking destruction and multiplication, it wasn't enough to change the reality of the situation. The infected had already taken over the majority of Veritas' surface, and most of the population had been turned into tribes of monsters battling against those who do not share their mutagen species or elements and the remains of humanity.

Humanity, once numbering in the billions, had been reduced to hundreds of millions.

All hope was thought lost…until a breakthrough was had.

While the MUSC virus turned women into violent monsters, it had a completely different effect on men. Males infected by MUSC were left more virile and prone to subservience to act as a means for monsters to replace their numbers besides infecting more women. To curb the fighting instincts of their new creations, males were made to act as communal toys and breeding stock, with the few monsters capable of forming "civilizations" using them as entertainment or otherwise. Their semen, previously only used to reproduced, had become a sticky, thick gloop of clingy slime filled with addictive qualities and aphrodisiacs, with the males bodies changed to produce a large quantity of it within their reproductive organs.

Among monsters, males were meant to be nothing more than sex slaves and semen repositories to feed their organic war-machine.

However, unlike the female version, the male version of the virus was found to be a slapdash effort rather than a civilization destroying contagion. A flaw that was carefully analyzed, reverse engineered, and perfected into the savior of Veritas: The Orga Module.

Using a mixture of Genetic Activators and the Morphogenic Suit, a Male with the proper genes can become a monster, but retain their mind and use their new physiology to free the enslaved rather than destroy them.

The First Generation took Veritas by storm. Supported by the remains of the military, the first Orga Fighters took to the field of battle. Putting to use their powerful forms and sexual adaptation, a dozen Arcologies were retaken by force of arms and using the enemies own weapons against them.

For the first time in history, men were allowed to take to the field of battle.

…And it was because they were extremely good at fucking the enemies of humanity into submission.

A cruel irony? Perhaps. But one that was necessary to protect their homes.

And now, the Second Generation of Orga Fighters will enter the battlefield. And you will be among them.

However, you are different than your predecessors.

For your Orga Module will not be a simple one. Orga Fighters, much like the mutants they face, draw their Modules and powers from figures of mythology and supernatural origins. For the First and Second Generations, most of these creatures were beings that weren't too far outside the public consciousness. But you…are different.

You are not simply supernatural.

Your new Module is one that has been tested and reevaluated multiple times over. Because, the Module you will be using in the war against MUSC is one that stands above even your fellow Orga Fighters. And, if you can prove that it's a success, perhaps you will see more of your Module out there on the battlefield.

For your Module...is the first Angelic Module.

You will embody the Heavenly Messengers that, according to some records, once led humanity into a golden age.

You will be a symbol of holiness and strength through adversity.

You will be the light that burns the darkness away.

That is your role.

The odds are long.

The prospects are harsh.

The challenges are immense.

But, despite everything, you will FREE Veritas from MUSC and take the fight to the enemy who nearly destroyed your civilization.

Now, before we begin, let us build the Orga Module that you will be piloting into battle. As your Orga Module will be one of the first of the Second Generation of Orga Modules sent into battle, it has yet to have a specific Combat Role decided for it. You certainly won't be the only member of the Second Generation, nor will you be the only Angelic Module put into the field. However, as your Generation has yet to be proven, all eyes will be on you. As your performance will determine whether or not your Module is viable for mass production.

So, when choosing the following customizations for your Orga Fighter, make sure it's something you're going to stick with!

Module:

Angel (All Around):

The Angel Module was designed to be an all-purpose Module. It is made to allow the Orga Fighter to engage in any type of mission regardless of what it entails. Whether it be combat, Capturing, spec-ops, or defense missions, the Angel is ready for anything. A well-rounded option capable of accomplishing any type of mission.

  • Health: 20/20
  • Loads: 5/5
  • Starting Perks: 2
  • Starting Traits: 2
Archangel (Front Line/Supporter):

The Archangel is made for the Front Line. It was designed to be a powerful combatant, with a focus on facing enemies and defeating them in combat, while also being able to support its allies. However, it's Capturing capabilities have suffered as a result, leaving it with fewer Loads than most Orgas. But if one's objective is to kill the foe rather than Capture, it is of little consequence.

  • Health: 30/30
  • Loads: 2/2
  • Starting Perks: 3
  • Starting Traits: 1
Seraph (Stealth/Infiltration):

The Seraph Module was created with a focus towards Capturing transformed women. Due to this, it was designed to look as appealing and unassuming as possible. The primary objective of the Orga Fighters who use this Module, is to sneak behind enemy lines, make women think they are weak and easily broken into a sex slave, then turn the tables during intercourse to Capture the women. Of course, this should be done either away from prying eyes, or in an advantageous situation. As the Seraph has very little in the way of direct combat capabilities.

  • Health: 10/10
  • Loads: 8/8
  • Starting Perks: 1
  • Starting Traits: 3
Perks:

Holy/Light Control: The Angelic Module has a natural affinity towards Holy and Light Attribute Magic. So, during its creation, it was fitted with extra Magic Circuits to allow the Orga Fighter to draw on more powerful magic and better control it. Having these Circuits allow for Orga Fighter to fire holy/light elemental magic beams, create weapons with the same element, and generally make use of such a power. This element is particularly effective against foes of the "Dark" or "Unholy" attribute such as Demons and Undead.

Support Magic: Another aspect of the Holy/Light attribute is its support powers. Healing, buffing, cleansing, and more are under the purview of this branch of magic. With this Magic Circuits, the Orga Fighter becomes capable of using Healing and other support type magic. While they won't be bringing the dead back to life, those with these abilities are always extremely welcome on the field of battle.

Aura of Inspiration: In many ancient cultures, Angelic beings were harbingers of victory and prosperity. If they descended upon the battlefield, their allies could be certain that they were blessed by their deities and would find victory on that day. Thus they would fight even harder. These Magic Circuits allow the Orga Fighter to replicate such an affect on the battlefield. As long as they are within a certain area of their other allies, their comrades will fight twice as hard as usual and be more resistant to negative effects. Granted, this will make the Orga Fighter a bigger target, but that is a small price to pay.

Dampening Aura: A particular problem that many Orga Fighters face is that their foes will sometimes have passive powers that makes them difficult to deal with. One you will no doubt run into yourself. This ability, however, will make it more manageable. Certain "Anti-Magic" Circuit will be placed within your Orga that, when near an enemy monster girl, will passive place a "Dampener" upon her powers. While this won't completely shut an enemy down, it will make her weaker to make the fight a bit easier on you. However, it will only work on a single monster girl at a time, and they must be in close proximity to you. This Aura has double the effect on enemies considered "Dark" or "Unholy."

Razor Wings: The wings of an Angel, while very beautiful, are also rather vulnerable to attack. Should they be destroyed in combat, the Orga Fighter could lose the ability to fly or worse. Engineers and scientist have thus come up with two ways of handling the issue. The first is to turn an Angel's wings into weapons. By applying special metal coatings to the Module's wings, they are turned into razor sharp weapons of war. You may now use your wings as weapons alongside any other you may have. While they can still be destroyed by a strong enough attack, it's gonna be hard to do so when they're attacking a foe.

Armored Wings: The other method of dealing with the weakness of wings, is to simply put armor on them. Your wings are now armored and better protected from enemy attacks. It'll be much more difficult for a foe to bring you down by attacking your wings. Not impossible, but difficult.

Traits:

Angelic Charisma: While technically standard with the Orga Module, the innate attractiveness of the Angelic Module can be enhanced to supernatural levels. Through a mixture of the Module's natural looks, some scientific theories on beauty, and a bit of magic, it is possible to give the Fighter unmatched charisma. When out on the field, enemy combatants will be more likely to wish to engage in intercourse with the Fighter rather than simply kill them. It will also make it easier to get enemy women to submit to Capture protocols. Though it also means the Fighter is more likely to be targeted, it is exactly what anyone getting this enhancement would want.

Excalibur: By funneling the Angel's natural affinity for Holy/Light magic into its reproductive organs, the Orga Fighter is given what could be described as a "Holy Penis". Able to be applied regardless of the Orga's sexual equipment, "Excalibur" acts as a concentrated combination of Holy/Light Magic and sexual stimulus. When used, it will easy any and all penetrations, immediately lubing itself and the target up for proper Capturing. But it's main effect is that any woman this is used on will slowly find herself "purified" of any negative effects. This by itself cannot cure the MUSC Virus, unfortunately, but it cane make women more receptive to Capture and cleansing protocols. It also acts as a hidden weapon for any monster who thinks they can seduce the Angelic Orga Fighter for an easier victory. Contrary to what some may think, Excalibur is actually twice as effective against "Dark" or "Unholy" enemies, and is thrice as effective against any that fall under the "Demonic" Type of monster.

Extra Limbs: An extra pair of arms and hands is gifted to the Angelic Module, allowing them to better pleasure a single Capture Target, or Capture multiple targets at once. A rather straightforward addition.

Holy Loads: Taking the same principles that were applied to Excalibur, the Angelic Module's Loads are also enhanced with Holy/Light Attributes. They gain the same properties as the Excalibur, save for a secondary use that most wouldn't consider due to how wasteful it normally is: They can be used as projectile weapons. By expending a Load, it can either be shot at a monster during combat, or put into a container and used as a makeshift explosive. Any monster hit will be afflicted by the same weakening properties as if they were penetrated by Excalibur, though to a lesser extent. This is generally seen as a last resort, unless the Orga Fighter has Loads to spare, considering how vital they are to Capturing monsters.

Extra Cock: Another straightforward attachment. A second phallus is attached to the Orga Fighter. With this, they can either Capture a single monster with twice the effectiveness, or Capture two targets at the same time.

Extra Loads: By enhancing the reproductive capabilities of the Orga Module, engineers are able to give them three extra Loads. Perfect for long expeditions, or needing to Capture multiple targets in succession.

Phallus Trait:

Note: This Trait is separate from normal Traits, and won't count towards the Starting Trait limit. However, you are only allowed to pick one...unless you take the Extra Cock Trait. In which case, you can pick two, with one of each type. By default, you being with a "Normal" human cock.

Also, these are mainly for flavor and don't give any mechanical bonuses.

Canine: A pointed, red phallus modeled off the various Canine Orga Modules and animals on Veritas. Its most prominent feature the "knot" that inflates when the Fighter is about to ejaculate, locking its partner in place and ensuring that the entire Load goes inside the Capture Target.

Equine: A long, thick, mottled brown phallus with a flat, blunt head modeled off the various Equine Orga Modules and animals on Veritas. Made more to batter a partner's orifices open than penetrate them, it has gained particular popularity around certain circles due to how it leaves many partners gaping and "ruined" for others. Granted, the MUSC Virus ensures that every orifice remains tight for the purpose of sexual reproduction regardless of size or stretching, but it has retained that reputation even now.

Reptilian: A long, smooth, light purple phallus with a pointed tip and ridges along its under side modeled off the various Reptilian Orga Modules and animal on Veritas. The ridges are known to be extremely pleasurable, able to hit multiple erogenous zones within a target at once. Its smooth textures make penetration much easier than most other phalluses, leading to easier Captures.

Feline: A rounded, pink and nubbed phallus modeled off the various Felina Orgas and animals on Veritas. What were once barbed spikes have been smoothed down to rounded nubs to increase the infliction of pleasure rather than pain. Though their tendency to grabbed onto the walls of their partners and pull has been kept.

Draconic: Similar to the Reptilian phallus, but rougher, thicker, and coming with a knot similar to a Canine. This is the only mythological option, with the comparisons being to other Draconic Orga Modules. It carries a little bit of the advantages of the Reptilian, Equine, and Canine phallus with it. Though, while it ensures the pleasure of its partners is immense, its can also be a daunting challenge to fully penetrate a Capture Target. Something that could prove troublesome when accounting for Load spillage.

Or: "The Females on our Female Dominated World got turned into Violent, Murderous Monster Girls, so we created Monster Boys to Fight/Fuck them into Submission." The Quest.

Hello, everyone! Been a while since I made a Quest on QQ, huh? This one in particular is inspired by the following Quest on Akun:
https://fiction.live/stories/Orga-Fighter-The-RELEASE-of-Veritas-/Jcn8EXtvxP5qwmF4i/home

It is, unfortunately, dead. But I was always interested in doing something similar to it. Mainly because:

  1. I thought the setting was interesting and actually seem to be pretty well thought out by the QM. I saw a lot of potential in it.
  2. I do enjoy the idea of the Good Guys using sex to fix women who have been corrupted by the Bad Guys, rather than the usual of them being completely unable to contend with it.
  3. The fact that the MCs is basically a biological mecha pilot is really fun to me.
So, I want to try to write a sort of Spiritual Successor to it!

If you couldn't tell from the Introductory Blurb, the basic idea is that Veritas was a planet similar to earth but where women were more populous than men. Society managed to reach the point where we almost reached the stars, but then got hit by the MUSC virus. Which, for some reason, turned all the women infected by it into sexy, but deadly and murderous Monster Girls who want to kill/fuck humanity into extinction. While the virus that infected women was intricate, the one that infected men was slapdash and was reverse engineered. Now, men can pilot what are basically biological Gundams based off Monster from Mythology, called Orga Fighters, and fight the good fight against the Monster Girls killing humanity...by fucking them into mind broken states, to that they may be taken back to an Arcology and cured.

You will be playing as one of the Second Generation of Orga Fighters, being given a Prototype Orga Module that hasn't seen use in battle yet. Can you survive and RELEASE Vertias from its horrible fate? Only time will tell.

Mechanics

The OG Quest didn't have much outside of Roll 1d100 Bo3 with modifiers. I'm planning to be a bit more narrative and apply a Diceless System. The basics of it is that you will have a "Hedge" which represents your base chance to succeed at a task. This will usually be 7.

I will then find all your Advantages, which will add to your Total, and Disadvantages, which will subtract from your Total.

I will then subtract the Target Number (TN) from the Final Total to find the Difference. I will then compare the Difference to a Chart to determine how well you succeeded at a task. Usually, positive/higher numbers are better for you.

If it's an Opposed Check, I'll do the same for the Opponent, and compare your Final Totals. Higher/Positive Differences are good for you, Lower/Negative Differences are bad for you.

Combat will be a bit different. Every character will have a BCV (Basic Combat Value) that represents how good they are in a fight. This is without accounting for experience, skills, etc. etc. Those will usually come after. This will normally be 2, but might change depending on the circumstances.

I will then gather the enemy's Advantages and Disadvantages, apply them to the BCV, then show you their current Final Total. I will then do the same for you and show you your Final Total.

The difference between the two will determine how the battle ends up. Battles may end in one Round, or may have multiple Rounds based on circumstances. If you will end up losing a fight, I'll give you a chance to do one of three things:

  1. Take the L. Just take the loss. It won't necessarily mean you die or lose completely, but you might take some damage.
  2. Make a Plan. Plan out your engagement with the enemy. Good plans that take advantage of the current circumstances, your strengths, the enemy's weakness, etc. etc. will give more bonus points that can be added to your Final Total.
  3. Spend Effort/Health. I'll describe what Effort is later, but basically you can spend points of Effort to add to your Final Total and improve your odds. You can add as much Effort as you'd like, but be careful as it can run out. If you run out of Effort, you can instead spend Health which represents you putting your life on the line to succeed. Each point of Effort adds one point to your Final Total per Effort spent, but each spend point of Health adds two points. If you run out of Health, you go down. You won't necessarily die, but you will be out of the fight.
Note: You can choose to both Plan and Spend Effort/Health at the same time. However, you can not choose to Plan or Spend Effort/Health if choosing to Take the L.

Now onto stats. Specifically, you only really have five:

Perks: Perks represent the combat capabilities and powers of your Orga Module. They're things like breathing fire, casting spells, flight, etc. etc. They're primarily useful in combat but some can be used for capturing Monster Girls.

Traits: Traits represent the sexual characteristics and appendages of your Orga Module. They're things like number of cocks, effects of your Loads, sex based magic powers, etc. etc. They're primarily useful when capturing (read: fucking) Monster Girls, though some can be used in combat.

Loads: Loads are your ability to cum without needing to rest. Each Orga Module has a certain amount of times it can climax before needing to rest and recover its Loads. Loads are very important, as they carry the mixture of aphrodisiacs and addictive substances that allow for the capture of Monster Girls through making them more submissive. While they can be effective when shot onto a Monster Girl, they can only achieve their full effectiveness when ejaculated inside a target. Whenever you capture a Monster Girl, you'll have to spend a certain number of Loads to "break" her and allow for full capture by allied forces. However, if you run out of Loads, you'll be fatigued, unable to perform capture operations, and operate at lower efficiency for a time.

Effort: A general pool of points that represents...well...your effort. Your ability to push yourself to accomplish your goals. Effort is primarily used to improve Final Totals when you need that extra boost. Your Effort Pool will start at 5/5 and improve as you evolve/gain more power. You recover 1 Spent Effort at the end of Combat. That's COMBAT not ROUND. Combat has to have completely ended to recover any Effort. If you're not in a stressful or dangerous situation, such as back at base/home, your Effort will recover back to full.

Health: A general measure of how healthy and hearty you are. You lose health when you lose Combat Rounds/Encounters or spend it to improve your Final Totals, and gain it when Combat is over. You'll recover up to half your current Max Health at the end of every Combat, and will fully recover once you reach your base/home/a safe area.
