Just saw the page myself and holy shit does that level of detail continue to amaze me.

Personal favourites are the guy with the monkey on his shoulder, the elephant like thing in the back and the hookers? leaning next to the shrine on the left.

Also, is that a shrine devoted to Incubus?
Kinda looks like him and the gold surrounding the stone in his brow looks like flames, which would fit his word of power.

Holy hell, is that a tv in the upper left corner? Even with gunwitches being a thing I somehow did not expect that.

 

There is also an arcade cabinet near Allison on the left, and another TV set in the middle near the ceiling.

And the one leaning on the wall is... smoking hot?

I wonder where these demons rank in terms of power next to the new gods. I don't think they are more powerful since Yab didn't have a chance against Mammon even with the fragment of the key she had stolen, but they probably aren't that much weaker either.

 

Generally speaking, the Angels are stronger than Devils, hence why the former spent several kalpas beating down the later in the Void and why the Devils keep to the shadows of Throne in the modern day.

Of the Angels, none of them are stronger than a Demiurge, save for Metatron.

Of course, Metatron(and Himself) don't really play by the same rules as everyone else.

So yeah. My guess is that the Demiurges would feel pretty comfortable about taking on any Devil aside from Himself.

So, "Himself" is the name of the 'prisoner' the demon council is guarding?
Or did I misunderstand something there?
I don't really follow the lore on tumbler or Abadon's WOG, so sometimes I'm a little behind.

Anyway, really gives weight to the sheer power of the Demiurges and the scale of their machinations.
Incubus is barely there, he only has the smallest foothold in Allison's mind, and yet, he is going to fuck up the day of the most powerful demons in throne, mostly just because he can.

 

"Himself" is a devil who has no mask. He's held 'prisoner' in some sort of cage, and is known only by the name "Himself". He's a pretty big deal among devils due to the whole 'no mask' thing, along with having what would appear to be a personality despite that 'lack of a mask' bit (which is supposed to be normally impossible for devils due to the nature of the Black Flame that defines them).

You see, without a mask and a 'name', Devils are pretty much little more than beasts of simple instinct and all-consuming hunger to kill, feed, and reproduce. A mask and a name are needed for Devils to be something 'more'.

And "Himself" has no mask.

Essentially, he's a self-willed existence born of the Hot Black Flame.
