Gonna be honest. Maya looks a lot more villainous when she's bald, shirtless and drinking wine while kicking your ass. Also she really does show that no matter that she's softer than Meti in some ways she's still Maya ten Meti.

Note the rain falling around her amputated arm and leg in the fifth panel (when Maya says she can train Allison). It looks like she's using some sort of will projection thing or self image thing or some sort of esoteric bullshit to convince the world that her limbs are actually still there.

 

I see that Auntie Maya is also a very skilled breakdancer.

A true swordsman in this universe does not need a sword, and should not spend time thinking about their sword.
Incubus was thinking any combination of the following "I want you to return to the way you were. I want you to feel pain for disappointing me with your transformation. I want you to praise me. I want you to reassure me that I will not become weak like you. I want this to prove I am better than you." On and on, he was thinking those, instead of making a corpse. His conviction to kill was not absolute.
