Because you find it's much easier to explain a spear rather then something like running around superfast. At least that's your personal explanation to it. I'm just talking about it.

You breathe deeply in and listen for anything out of the ordinary. That and freeze some of the ground around you.

You hear something crackling. You open your eyes and you see a massive dog that's on fire.

You smile as an opportunity offers itself to you. You aren't going to refuse it either. The Dog is just such an inviting target. After all if it's going to be the only thing you can see, It's the only target you can't miss.

You go into Ice Prince form.

You summon the spear in it's frozen form. You have no idea what powers it has. But considering your affinity with it you imagine it to be on the higher end.

The Dog is barreling down on you. Closing the distance rapidly. It's footsteps leaving burning marks in the pavement. It doesn't matter how hot it is. All you need to worry about is one moment.

The beast finally makes it to you and slides on the ice.

You slide backwards on the ice at rapid speeds.

You accelerate with your spear forward.

You leave a massive gash in the side of the Black Dog.

Suddenly it erupts in flames.

You move backwards out of the way.

It melted all of the ice on the ground.

I'm kinda worried that going Ice Prince will make us weaker to the flames. Originally, I added Yeti to Dash as I worried that Dash alone might make us fall.

Divine lance all up ins. Dumb dog worked out that we don't want to grab it when it's on FIRE. Alternate tactics required.

You quickly name the Shot + Spear Combo. For ease of reference for the author and because it sounds 20% cooler.

A laser the size of a coke bottle fires and goes through the Black dog. And keeps going and going and going and going. Uh. That may just be a bit over powered. Just a little bit.

Well there is now a decent sized hole in the Dog.

On the other hand.

It's seems to be breathing fire now.
