What you're talking about is the same as the Parent/Child tag functionality that QQ doesn't currently possess. SB has it, but it's an add-on, not core XF functionality, and QQ doesn't purchase that add-on.
There's also a tag of selfinsert (no dash, no space) floating around. This could also be merged with the tags, 'transmigration' and 'isekai'. Isekai in general might be a good umbrella term.
Selfinsert should be merged with the SI tar, yes, but not so much the other to. Isekai and transmigration are two different things however, while transmigration is a common method for self-insertion, it's not exclusive to self-insertion, and is actually a fairly common trick in a lot of Xianxia for the powerful expert types to be able to (after losing their bodies) either take over a new body, or reincarnate with at least part of their memories intact. On the contrary, isekai can be through transmigration, transportation or some other means to send someone (SI or otherwise) to another world (which is what Isekai means in the first place). So, yeah, those three tags should stay seperate, not because they're mutually exclusive, but because they're informative.
Regardless of feasibility, the staff will not be allowing users to tag threads belonging to other people.

I mean, technically you can already 'tag' stories in such a way, using purely the bookmark functionality on QQ, there's just not a way of sharing or comparing that with other users (aside from making a thread to post about it). Just make the OP of a thread a QQ bookmark, and include a score in the label.

Yeah, I was going to comment on why it was a bad idea, but you figured it out. That becomes a very easy way for people to harrass others. But as LurkinInTheDeceit said, you can always just bookmark a specific post (probably the first one is easiest) and tag it there as a remind like "This story starts to suck after chapter 3", so that you'll see it pretty much right away when you open the first page.

It's a specific (set of) cyoa people might want to search for/exclude, but also I haven't looked at 'cyoa' and all it's variants yet (that one was caught because I searched for 'worm'). *adds to lead list*
Yeah, those are definitely more typical examples. At least on QQ, and more generally in fanfiction, I think 'self-insert' and 'crossover'/'multicross' are popular and broad enough categories that they also count, but I'm less sure about 'oc insert' and 'character insert'. Somewhat inclined to move those two down to 'Elements'.
I think you are right on both counts.
There are many CYOA that are very different from the Worm one and should be kept seperate.
It doesn't look like there are enough threads with the different cyoa tags to bother with. looks like a couple of threads each with a whole bunch of different generic cyoa tags and thats it other than 'cyoa for days' that seems to be what all the other threads use.
