The site will be down from approximately Noon, CDT (1600 UTC) to 8 PM (with the possibility of a longer outage should the migration be slower than expected. Yes, there's a banner for this. People who exclusively use mobile in the vertical position won't have seen it. If you want to talk about it for the next 16 hours, this is the place.
 
To be clear, that's an anticipated 8 hours of downtime?

Remember to light sacred incense and pray fervently to the servers Machine Spirits during the transition. This sounds like a joke but I did exactly that when helping out with a similar thing and it cut the downtime by an hour.

NVM, apparently there is just bad color contrast in dark mode. Still a bit hard to see in light mode as well (miss the orange).

I just want it know that I hate all of this and your moms a ho. How do I get my shit to look right now lol. Also nice warning that literally none of us got nor making it so we can get access or a notification at all. You know the last time I used my password here??

Now we just need decent styles. The dark style is ugly as hell... even if it's better than the literal flashbangs of the light modes.

Grey on grey on grey is a really awful look. We need a better dark theme, stat. :p
 
Hey is there a bugs thread yet or are we just gonna use this one? Becasue the email updates for a thread seems to just be an email sumarized as "Hey fucker the thread updated" instead of, say, including any information at all such as the post involved which was the default so far as I know.

I care slightly more about getting the top bar of options to be more like SB and SV, because being able to access unread watched threads in a single click is very important, but yeah this dark theme is kinda ass.
