ideas for some Cinder/Jaune stories?
indulging the stereotype:
Nick Arc is sent a a mission with Rhodes. Rhodes insists that they stop at a little known hole in the wall that he's a regular at.
tldr: Nick finds out about Cinder, does something both stupid and heroic and Cinder becomes an Arc. Many years later Jaune finds out the truth and the fact that the two aren't blood related and decides that it's fine if he pursues his "big sis."

Jaune Arc is a great television actor. His first job was on the series RWBY. It wasn't a great show, but it was the series that catapulted him to better roles by playing a younger, clumsy version of himself. Now he's a world-renowned actor, but that was before he reincarnated in the world of Remnant, which is now a completely real world with all its dangers. Now he has to use his acting skills and everything he learned during his years as an action series actor to prevent the fall of this world and maybe finally get to hang out with his favorite characters from the series, Queen Salem and Glynda Goodwitch..

The Food Room New
Jaune had just finished cleaning the kitchen and was heading toward the dorms when Weiss intercepted him like a heat-seeking missile.

"Jaune!" she called, marching up with her usual imperious air. "Go to your food room and get me a slice of that cake Pyrrha's having!"

Jaune stopped dead. "…My what now?"

Ruby, who had been sprawled on the couch with a comic book, looked up. "Cake?"

Weiss waved a hand impatiently. "Yes, that's what you do in the food room, isn't it? You go in and you bring out food. That's why it's called a food room and yours has more than ours."

Ruby blinked. "Lots?"

Jaune stared at Weiss like she had just spoken in ancient Valish. "You… you do realize I actually have to bake them, right?"

Ruby's silver eyes went huge. "You bake?"

Weiss tilted her head, genuinely confused. "What's a bake?"

The silence that followed was so loud it could have been heard in Atlas.

Jaune opened his mouth. Closed it. Opened it again.

Ruby slowly sat up. "Weiss… do you think food just… appears in kitchens?"

Weiss crossed her arms, cheeks faintly pink. "Well, obviously someone has to put it there. I assumed the staff handled it. Or… magic. I don't know. I've never had to concern myself with such things before."

Jaune pinched the bridge of his nose. "Weiss. I bake the cakes. From scratch. With flour and eggs and sugar and—"

Weiss's eyes widened in dawning horror. "You mean you… touch the ingredients? With your hands?"

Ruby was now openly cackling. "Oh my gods, Weiss, you thought Jaune just walked into a room and food magically appeared?!"

"I— I never thought about it that deeply!" Weiss snapped, face now fully red. "It's not like I grew up learning how to operate a… a stove!"

Jaune sighed, but there was a fond smile tugging at his lips. "Tell you what. I'll bake you a cake tomorrow. From scratch. And I'll even let you watch. Maybe you'll learn something."

Weiss huffed, trying (and failing) to look haughty. "I suppose that would be… acceptable. For educational purposes."

Ruby grinned. "Can I lick the bowl?"

Jaune pointed at her. "Only if you help clean up."

Weiss scowled, but nodded slowly.

"Fine."

"…And Weiss? It's called a kitchen."

Weiss's indignant squeak echoed down the hall.

This one ☝️. This one might actually break Weiss to learn more about. It's probably a favorite dish of Blake though (for she is a cat).

Blake being just as food-ignorant would be hilarious.

Blake: *tilts head* "Fish...pie? What's a fish pie?"
Nora: *stuffing her mouth* "It's something you're not going to get, you mooch! NORA HASN'T FORGOTTEN WHO STOLE HER TUNA STEAK!"

Now it's going to be Ruby badgering Jaune for more pastries, though.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and the movie Clue, both have monkey brains being consumed.
Also anything on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman from the Travel Channel

Weiss gives Jaune a nice gift.

We find Weiss rushing to some place. It wouldn't be long before we'd discover the destination of her run, that being one Jaune Arc who we find staring out over Vacuo from a balcony. Upon finding the target of her mission, she quickly gathered herself from her run before approaching.

"Jaune," she called out

He'd turn, offering a small and slightly confused smile, "Weiss. Do you need something?"

"What, can't I just wish to see a dear friend?"

"Heh, I suppose there's nothing wrong with that."

She smiled hearing the small laugh, something a little rare from him since their return from the Ever After. Shaking her head before that pitfall of memories could hold her, she approached, then stopped beside him, laying her arms on the rail to look out over the city as well. It was a nice quiet moment, neither speaking, simply enjoying the forming night sky as the sun began its descent. She'd finally remember her reason for finding him, looking at him directly now.

"Jaune."

"Yeah Weiss?"

"If it'd be alright. I'd like to give you something."

His eyebrows would raise in curiosity, as she flattened her hands together in a sort of 'give me' gesture, before a familiar light blue glyph began forming above them. Jaune couldn't say he'd ever grow tired of seeing her glyphs, mesmerized by the magical nature they gave off. But his attention turned to what the glyph was doing, watching as ice began rising and taking shape. A shape he'd been long familiar with, one he'd never dream of forgetting.

"I-is that-" he half whispered.

Soon the glyph was done, the ice finishing its formation into the familiar sight of his beloved traveling companion, Juniper. Weiss would gently offer the figure to him, which he took with equally gentle care, eyes locked onto it.

"I figured you'd like something to remember her by," Weiss began, "It took me a while to get it right but- Jaune!?"

To her worry, tears had begun falling from his eyes, no noise with them, just silent as he kept looking at the icy figurine.

"O-Oh gods I didn't- I'm sorry Jaune! W-was it to insensitive?! We did only come back a week ago, maybe I should've waited lo-"

"Weiss," his soft tone made her stop, and she looked up to find a warm smile on his face, "I love it. Even if she isn't here by my side. You've given me a way to never forget her, and our time together. So, thank you."

She couldn't help a few of her own tears fall as she offered her own smile, "Always."
