Considering the fact that trees still had green leaves in February nowadays, Toru was pretty sure it was going to be the ice age quirk.
Man. The apocalypse really messed up the weather. Or is Japan just like that?

"I'm not really a support student yet, I just got accepted in a bit early. And even if I was I don't know anything that would help make Toru some decent threads. I specialize in programming and computer science, not-"

That was about all Toji managed to get out before Mei pounced on him a second with with a gleeful shriek, the words 'computer science' all it took to send the mechanic into a blood frenzy.
I am sorry Toji, you got another one. (I wonder how long it will take before the gacha gives you a mutation that seems similar to hers.)

"Sorry, but even the great Mei Hatsume has her limits! Every time I try using soap my skin feels like it's two sizes too small and made out of dried wood. Be glad I even did this much to go along with this talent meet-up!"
"The Grease is moisturizing you see!"

Damn, as far as Toru was concerned this was basically a perfect end to how the day could've gone. Toji got her a pair of pants, she got some free food, and she got to eat dinner with a cute musky girl. Honestly, what more could she ask for?

"Sure, that sounds good for me as well. We can talk it over after you're done getting Toru's measurements for her costume. That's probably not something I should be in the area for."

Toru's life was fucking awesome.
Ah, Mei I am afraid Toru is planning to induct you into the polycule. There is no escape.

It's not supposed to be like that IRL, but the entrance exam canonically takes place in February (I think specifically the 26th?) and that entire chunk of the manga is drawn like it's mid-late spring so I guess Japan's weather is Evangelion-tier now.
