  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

The SFW image thread

It'd be really hilarious if rumors made that become a thing.
The Legend of Wang Fire is canon:

her tits are too big / she's too flat
hair too long /too short
wearing too much / scandalous cleavage (...okay, that could theoretically also be folded into the first, but I mean "too large" here)

Actually saw something like that once at a hotel where we had a conference for work.

Because the 4chan fanbase of the webcomic Kill Six Billion Demons makes some wonderful memes.

I know this was supposed to be a joke, but it's actually a problem down there.
When I lived in TX, 3 of the 4 places I lived at did not have any internal heat sources other than the stove, I spent several nights sleeping on the floor in the kitchen with the oven on and opened (VERY unsafe). Since it so rarely falls below freezing, and people who grew up there can go their entire lives without encountering it, people just don't think about it. Several people I knew didn't even own more than 1 blanket per person in the house. And those blankets weren't what those of us up north would consider 'Winter Weight'.

On the other hand, I actually DID know someone who owned a flamethrower (not the picture). :p
He wouldn't have used it on his driveway though, to expensive to use authentic fuel (or so he claimed). For something like that, he'd use a Super-Soaker filled with gas with a Zippo taped to the end, or one of the following.

It would also cause more problems than it solved, because the melted snow would refreeze as black ice.
The snow and ice would turn to steam in that heat.
And for all the problems with snow and ice in Dallas right now, the temperature is only 30%F, so it's not like all the drains are clogged and frozen over. Besides, 1 spot of ice is easier to cover with sand than an entire driveway.
