Video Games General

Anybody else given up on special editions and anything limited quantity? Scalpers always get there first. There's really no hope besides paying 10x the base price.

Aside: I did finally buy a Switch 2. Started with Donkey Kong. Pretty fun so far, I'm down to Hillside.

Can't fucking find the first banana in the nostalgia stage, despite it being 2D.

Pauline is cute and evil monkey lady is sexy.

Playing through the Graveyard Keeper 2 demo, and its definitely improved upon the original. One of my main problems with first title and why I've bounced off my multiple attempts to actually play it is how damn slow going it is for a while, this one starts off a lot quicker and gets you going faster.

Yeah, Graveyard Keeper 1 has some horrible pacing early on; you can't unlock anything that needs blue tech points until after you open up the church, for example.

But at the same time, it talks about how the best move for some things is stuff you can't unlock for awhile, like cremation.

Plus, there's how the PC version had 3 paid DLC packs (Stranger Sins, Game of Crones, and Better Save Soul) and one (free) update that acted like DLC (Breaking Dead)... but the console versions had Breaking Dead as the 4th paid DLC pack.

The Switch version didn't even get Better Save Soul... which isn't all that big a loss, as the game got more and more unstable the more DLC was installed, and the Switch version was pretty crash prone with just the 3 DLCs that it did get.

Anyways, based on what you've seen of the demo, have they added a way to increase your inventory size, or does it seem like they're going back to the bag system introduced in Game of Crones (except now hopefully with dedicated bag slots, so they aren't clogging up your main inventory)?
