Hello Sin! I finished reading Male Equivalent of a JK and wanted to know is there more to the story than just the 22 threads here? Because I started reading the JK In Other Worlds story and there are more characters in the main group than at the end of the original...like Fubuki and Rei. If so where do I find the rest of the story

Can I check a bit of Australian Slang for something and a robot I'm planning on my setting. But does my internet research into a nickname for Octopus being Occy? (Just double checking what my research on dictionaries has told me and I wanted to check with an actual person.)

Maybe? It sounds like it fits into our tendency to shorten words and put an upward inflection on the end … 'arvie', 'barbie', etc. personally I've never heard it, so it might be regional.

I'd imagine more of 'little blue-ringed-murderous-bastard', but that's not exactly shortening per se …

Fair. I just found it on wiktionary and found it perfect for the kind of thing I want. Right, more research.

(Namely, with friends I have the concept of a Hug Squiddie (namely a Sentinel from The Matrix as a hugger) and I wanted to create something similiar but with an Octopus.)

What's changed with all the edited chapters of Merchant's Odyssey? Grammar, plotline, etc? I noticed you crossposted to AO3, which got me to start rereading the story. Should we expect more chapters past chapter 29 soon?

Plot of A Merchant's Odyssey is unchanged. I am editing for grammar and mistakes I made due to rushed writing - i wrote it in 30 days, and to catch up on it. I'm working on The Ouroboros Potioneer, and I can only do 1 extra chapter for side-stories a month. Each month I put up a poll to let readers vote on which side-story they want updated. Once Merchant is fully edited, it will be added.

I am limited by character count to reply in this post. If you have further questions on the story, feel free to DM me.

For example, due to monthly tickets, Zhang Wei wrote a canon omake where Qian Xunji hypnotized Bibi Dong and Liu Erlong into loving Yu Xiaogang, hypnotized Bibi Dong into thinking she got raped by him, hypnotized Bibi Dong into hating him and killed him, all so "he can make a god", utterly changing canon plot setting.
Hey man just wanted to say love your works. I know this maybe annoying but can I ask when are you planning to update your game of thrones fic?

Ok, so, I have a question for people in general. What is the point of an author asking the question for where the plot would go if their written work is already done and exclusive to paid subscribers? It's just so weird to me and I can't fathom how it works.

One, they can't do retcon the works posted on public cuz their subscribers are relying on the fact that they are reading exclusive future chapters.

Two, public reader review/replies are pointless...?

I am really confused. It's even worse when the author doesn't interact with their audience at all.

Are they actually asking or did they just copy-paste it from the patreon release in the chapter?

Sorry if this is a bother, but is Jumping Heaven's Chain officially dead at this point?

Unfortunately... yeah.

That's a shame, the idea of a Jumpchain quest was really interesting and the quest itself was really fun. Any chance of you making a similar quest or reboot?

Regarding the 'beat 'em up' premise, tell me more about the setting, what's publicly known by the character who gets the power, and what access to research they have access to in terms of alternate worlds (ie, what kind of fandoms are you familiar with?)

I'm happy to give you a space to bounce your ideas off!

Sorry xd, I hadn't read your previous comment—apologies if it came across as offensive or insulting. And don't worry, I won't comment on the profile regarding the character sheet anymore.
