  • Staff is working to deal with the problem of synonymous tags. See here for more information and to suggest tag mergers.
  • QQ will have forum downtime on October 21, starting at 10:00 AM Eastern time, for software updates.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Now that I'm properly educated (at least my new academic degree says so) I'll be slowly starting to write again.
Sorry, it was probably rude of me to send that message given the selfishness it implied. Can't exactly take that back, so I can only apologize.

Yo, I just saw that you were moving all your threads. That's your choice, of course, but I just wanted to wish you the best if you are going totally off QQ. I am sorry if what happened before was the tipping point, but for what it's worth, you seem like a cool person and I hope you do well over on ao3.

Thank you, and who knows, I didn't have any expectations of having an audience here, and I certainly don't have any for AO3, either. Unfortunately, it was the tipping point, I just don't see any point to the rule when they all blatantly, openly, violate it anyway. Regardless, I wish you the best. You are one of the nicest people I met on here.

Thanks, I really appreciate that. And if you ever feel like reaching out for any reason, I'll be here. In the meantime, good luck with where you are going next and I hope you build a good audience for yourself and your work.

I just realized what one-armed Vulcan's combat in the various omakes reminds me of- Simon, from Expedition 33.

Hah, yeah. It's a great game, you should check it out!

...By the way, I was careful to say Simon and not Simon, The Divergent Star. The latter is an updated version of the boss fight with way more gnarly mechanics.

Heh. Though, aside from the one-arm thing, I would say the fighting style is fairly off, given that Vulcan's sword manifests as a "great" or "long" type depending on alignment, so Simon's buster sword moves a bit clunkier than she generally fights. 🤔

Makes sense. It was more of a general thing anyway, their combat methodologies (i.e. powers and execution of strategy) are too different from the jump.

>work for months on the update
>release it, be happy that it works perfectly as designed
>outage at the server provider happens

Knew it was going too smooth, something had to explode. Just my damn luck

While I'm not one to hide my work behind pay walls you can find my Ko-Fi if you wish to support me. It wil help me keep up my rate of writing and improve the quality, by giving me more time for it.

Hey, loved that Goa'uld story of yours as you may have noticed by the likes. I think it might have been better if it didn't have a system though, just natural development. Maybe should have had a thinking host too for drama. Finally given it's NSFW I hope she gets fucked eventually, genderbent guys getting dick is funny and hot. Hope you update soon.

Updoot to anyone about the very specific worm fanfic, that shit has been deleted. It's titled Unrestricted PTV (or something close) according that guy that replied to me. I don't know what made them do that in the first place but goddamn I am fucking disappointed.

Like, come on dude...

Oh cool, didn't know you had a QQ account too. Am I correct in assuming that Wrench in the Works is dead?

Basically. I might go through what my plans were for it at some point, but I still hope to return to it one day.

Hi there! I have a question for you: when will you start the continuation of "The Guild of Gamers: The Tinker"? I'd love to see Kei in *Mass Effect*, *Halo*, or *Warhammer*, trying to do the same thing he did in *Worm* though, of course, it would be much harder; higher difficulty! Plus, can you imagine Kei arriving with Lisa at a hive city in *Warhammer 40k*? Anyway, I hope you can continue it at some point!

As a call back to my previous idea/profile post, what are your thoughts on a Kurama!Si (memories included) in harry potter, with the premise of said Si being a spirit that the school made/summoned to protect the castle/students from invaders
