I think it was the first piece of fiction I had access to that depicted "cosmic battle between good and evil" with this one novel where there was a giant evil alien fighting a giant good alien in space, which seems kind of incomprehensible to me at the time, but now seems kind of tame

I'm not embarrassed exactly as writing the stories I posted here, DID help get me into the habit of writing again, so everything kinda stands on their shoulders, but it isn't my thing, and It's not something I'll likely come back to.

Oh no, you've got a good thing going on, I hardly imagine that descending back into the depths has much draw. It just felt a little like wandering through a strip club, and brushing past your old English teacher that helped you to fall in love with books. One of the reasons I wanted to write was how much I enjoyed your fics, but I decided to test out smut since I figured nobody would judge me that hard if it kinda sucked. So seeing your old stuff here was a bit of a funny reminder that we're all human after all.
