My dog died this morning. It has not been a good day. I thought I was handling it well and then when I was cataloging his old photos it hit me all at once. Now, every time I think I have it back under control I start crying again. When I'm not, I sit here in this hollow fugue and try not to think about it.
It's been a while, and I hope you come back to write some more. But thank you for what you have written. It's gotten me into FF Online and given me some great memories.

I saw, but haven't gotten to it yet. I will and I appreciate the message! Horror, tragedy, and the ugliest sort of drama coming to light- those are absolutely worth reading and ruminating on. But giving them a purpose? A purpose beyond "that's what the genre says to do"? You did a good thing with this story. You really understood and gave a damn about the source material.

I still have ideas for that story that I need to put out, and in fact have a fairly good gist of what I plan to do for the next chapter, I just need to sit down and storyboard it. I keep pushing that story to the backburner, so I'll see when I can bring it back into the rotation.
