The whole "Trap is a slur" thing is fucking stupid.

I'll believe that when I actually see it, and I've seen plenty of transgender people who are treated like a normal, (or as weird as fuck because they didn't put any effort into actually looking feminine, which is just creepy if you don't already know the person is Trans instead of a drag queen. (Drag queens are not necessarily trans))

Traps are not Transgender. Plenty of people cross dress and are not gay or transgender, and call themselves traps.

Transgender: Person who believes they are a different gender than they were born with. Dresses up because that is who they are. This is about their identity, not lewds.

Trap: Person who cross dresses in order to attract someone of the same gender. This is about lewds ranging from hand holding too full blown sex.

Crossdresser: Someone who cross dresses for fun or attention.

Yeah. You have to be pretty to be a trap. Hence why it's more of a compliment in the internet/anime/crossdresser context.

A trap is convincingly pretty and it's often a mix of both makeup and naturally good looks. So a trap is a compliment on skill of disguise and beauty of appearance.

Traps are indeed gay. Unless it's Astolfo, it's not gay if it's Astolfo. The Astolfo Beans however is super gay. And an affront to all that is holy.

Probably because men attracted to traps are often attracted due to them looking so feminine. Essentially they're so feminine that haterosexual makes feel no issue of possibly being attracted to them.
