Jaune: "Uh, yeah... Why is that weird?"

Ruby: "I mean... Why do you have that?"

Jaune's Brain: Because you guys are maniacs who would cause massive property damage and get us all in jail if I didn't call ahead... Plus geez, I still need a lot of work and it's amazing Miss Goodwitch is willing to give me extra instruction! Seriously, she looks strict but she's like a total softy! Not that I'm complaining, I need all the help I can get but boy was I wrong about the portrayal in the show! She's so kind and such a good teacher...! I really gotta do something nice for her...

Jaune: "Because we need someone to bail us out and she's really nice? Also she gives me extra tutoring sessions."

If i remember right from an omake Jaune going to unlock Amp and Susanno is amp the soul self into the work ie skeleton muscle then skin and clothe/armor

is Adam wounding Ren going to be the Trigger? And if so maybe Ruby could get the SEW Cloak of Light ie Toneri cloak that insta petrifies Grimm and those with darken souls

I did write an SI inspired by AJT's but that was my SI, which basically added a few features to Jaune's abilities.

It was basically an additional semblance that allowed Aura to be solidified into shapes, but the SI using his own intelligence and Jaune's knowledge of the Human Body to make and Aura construct.

While he was making a Susanoo to break Adam, he was simultaneously stitching Ren back together from what Adam did to him.

Jaune had hoped to slip into the bathroom... But when he opened the door, he was confronted with a large open red portal.

Jaune: "... Crap-"

And he got shoved through. He slammed into the ground. He slowly stands up, brushing himself off. He looks around... It's just outside a dingy camp in the middle of nowhere in the woods.

Jaune: "... Mrs. Xiao-Long, I presume?"

Raven walks out from behind a tree.

Raven: "You're a flippant one."

Jaune: "Only when I've tumbled through a portal to meet my girlfriend's mother."

Raven: "Hmph. So... You can see the future."

Jaune's Brain: Motherfucking-WHO DOESN'T KNOW?!

Jaune: "... Son of a-Qrow?!"

Raven: "Nothing of the sort. He's too good at opsec, even while drunk. I just put the pieces together."

Jaune: "YES! Now I get that learning that she's indestructible is REALLY demoralizing, and yeah, Ozpin's leadership isn't inspiring-But even if I didn't know we could win, I would still fight because people living and being happy is worth fighting for!"

Raven: "Why?"

Jaune: "I-Because it's my world too! Because life, survival, matters! And because it's the right thing to do! Sure, Ozpin hasn't figured it out, but he's tied closely to this so he couldn't see any alternative!"

Raven: "And if you die?"

Jaune: "I wanna do everything I can to not die-"

Raven: "If you die?" She has her blade out and at his throat in a second, staring intently at him.

Jaune: "... Then I die... But I'll fight to the end before I do."

Raven: "You're scared."

Jaune: "Of course I'm scared! That doesn't mean I don't have a job to do!"

Raven stares at him for a long moment. Jaune sweating, his heart is pounding...

Then, she pulls back and nods.

Raven: "Good. My daughter chose well."

Jaune: "... I... I don't want her to regret anything."

Raven: "Good... Take care of her. And Ruby."

She kicks Jaune through a portal and he crashes into Yang in the bathroom.

Yang: "ACK! Jaune, what the-?!"

I just had a weird Baki the Grappler flashback, so I wondered if Racen would ever pull a Yujiro and then in her own power hungry, cave woman way, encourage Jaune and Yang when they are doing it.
