So if anyone is wondering why I haven't actually been around or updating my quests lately I have a tale for you, it also has alot to do with this fanarts right here:
Yeah, Ponyfied Rochelle. Now first thing's first, no I am not a brony now. i view being a Brony and appreciating the series different things. Besides, I haven't watched the cartoon yet. Now the reason I've been procrastinating so much is because a few weeks agoi got kinda bored. So I went looking through old fanfics I liked, then I looked through fics I'd saved for later, then after I got done with those I looked through authors I liked for fics I haven't read yet. And that's when I saw Hands by AJT. I thought, "Hmmm, a human going to that show I've been hearing alot about, the one with the ponies. Well might be a good way to jump into the series, and i like AJT's stuff anyway."
So after reading the fic for a couple chapters I thought to myself, "Dear Ninja Jesus, this is horrible!" And while most people would stop there to get back to productive activities, a pro procrastinator like your's truly went the other way. Still looking to kill time I decided to search the rest of the fandom for more, hopefully not a awful, fics with similar premise. So I asked TFF for recs, and looked up TVTropes...
Long story short I haven't slept more that 4 hours a day in the last 3 weeks and been combing through tons of Human in Equestria fics, looking up pony memes, studying the fandom culture, downloading the best fan songs and PMVs, and searching the web for the better fanartists. Basically I wikiwalked MLP for the better part of a month. Thankfully I believe I've gone through everything of note and with that little bit of fanart I'm pretty sure I got most of my obsessive need to binge study anything that I find interesting out of my system.
Then again I still gotta watch Friendship is Witchcraft (and download more of their music) so it might still be a few more days until I do anything productive. In the meantime I have more fanart!
Now about the Pony!Rochelle; It was actually far harder to drawn than I thought. Seriously, it was an uber bitch to finally get something that actually looked like a pony rather than just a deformed human, it was like I was fighting myself to get it in the right style. But after I finally got the style down it was pretty easy to finish. Then came the coloring. DEAR GOD THE COLORING! I thought it would be best to color her, she's now a technicolor pony, i figured that because she's a pony I needed to color her. Honestly it wasn't difficult to color her, Photoshop rocks, the hard part was
picking the colors. Oh yeah, yellow and burned orange are now her official hair color, I HAVE SPOKEN!
Rochelle (Needs a pony name, how about Creepy Crawly?) has a cut off horn, I just sorta figured, Magical girls = Unicorn, so a witch would have their horn broken. Also her cutey mark is a Spider wearing a hat and playing bongos which is her special talent, being a spider wearing a hat while playing bongos. She's the best in Equestria at being a bongo playing hat wearing spider!
The rest of the fanarts are still a little rough, but I'll clean them later. All but the next two are part of a group, namely me playing around with Rochelle's hair style....
This is just a normal bit of fanarts nothing too special about it. Moving one...

But on topic, this one was something quick I made cause I had a large blank spot on the last page I didn't feel like leaving blank. To be honest, I think I got her left breast in wrong spot, no matter how much I look at it I just keep thinking "Shoulda put it a few mms more to the right". Maybe I can fix that when I clean it later...
Now the next 6 are me playing around with Rochelle's hair, because I found the Hair meme while looking up pony stuff.
First up pony tail. Fun fact, and something I hope isn't too obvious, the front and back parts of her head were drawn separately. I accidentally ended up drawing her head too high to actually fit the pony tale in. And the ponytail I ended up drawing actually didn't fit at first so I used the transform option on Photoshop. Tell me if anything about it looks awkward so I can fix it when I clean it up.
Twintails! Funny thing is I drew this one up last since I had the most trouble with the style. NEXT!
Sidetail! This is where I started to hammer down the look of that wispy hair. Modeled it off of Petta from Makai Kingdom, but dropped that mostly by the next one.
Short hair! Yeah, not all that different from her usual style, probably should have added a hair dec. Speaking of hair decks...
Long hair and return of awesome hats! 10 valueless internet points to anyone who can guess who's hat that is. Not only made the back longer but increased the length of the bangs too as well as the thickness. You probably can't see it but Rochelle is wearing a night gown. Also petting a spydah. And lastly we have...
Forehead! Or rather "up-do" according to the translation. At first I had not fucking clue what that meant, since the only example I had at the time was just weird and stupid, a ponytail only on the
front of her head. Luckily I found an good example, albeit in Japanese, on Know your memes and figured out it meant forehead.
With her forehead exposed you can hardly recognize her. At first I was gonna go with the same style that showed me it was foreheads, but it was traditional Japanese and it would have looked weird with Rochelle's wavy hair. That and coloring it would have been an absolute nightmare. So hair decs! And I dressed her as a maid, because
maids; FUCK YEAH!
For anyone wondering just how deep down the rabbit hole I went on my study of MLP:FiM... I have 6 songs, 2 dramatic readings, and 5 fanfics stuck repeating in my head. ...At the same time. It won't stop. Also a clop fic, WHY DID I READ THAT!? WHHHHRRRRRYYYYYY!!!!????
