@Maleficarum I'll just note here the protagonist had intent to respond when he could do so in a way his father's bribes or influence couldn't make disappear, making connections and building up rep with some people that could make a punishment stick was just a step on that. Something I'm really surprised by is the lacking of Doom/DxD stories since the few I have found go so far into the edge zone it's not even funny

I honestly think they could go pretty good hand in hand with Doomguy having lots of punchmeat monster to kill and massive meathead powerhouses to go up against

Apparently, people think that in Douluo, Sea God Island is allegory for Taiwan because of how it's where people escape to when they're defeated in the mainland, and the Divine Realm/God Realm is allegory for Japan because everyone's super suppressed so they get all sorts of fetishes

Just finished reading Dokushin tensei pt 9 and...
...Is there any hope for a Roxy romance in the future, if you continue it? As I understand it, Roxy clearly fears him, and is kinda projecting Paul onto him, expecting him to grow to be a rapist too lmao. While I do understand her train of thought, I can't say I'm not disappointed in her.

It's quite simple. Zenith is a weak person, and having sex with someone makes you inclined to think better of them (hence the 'don't stick your dick in crazy' aphorism), so, like abusers from time immemorial, whenever she gets uppity, Paul tries to have sex with her.

And when that doesn't work he appears charmingly pathetic until she gives in and does have sex with him, with consent being something to be routed around in his mind, then, wham, bam, and now the mam's in his pocket again. Because Paul is a PoS, but Zenith is an enabler.
