Chakra arm is...eh. If we're drawing inspiration from Bijuu, especially if we're drawing inspiration from Bijuu...I think that's kind of done and over with. There's plenty of Jinchuuriki, and I bet keeping the arm active costs quite a bit of chakra.

Compare with an arm we'll keep, that won't need chakra to maintain and is another Chibi-Reaper mystery box special!

We'll actually be unique, rather than a ripoff of Bijuu!

 

I'm a little concerned about a sorta-unhinged 6 year old getting her hands on something this powerful (assuming the sealed arm wins), but let's face it. Mio would find a way to make this work.

Though I'd still rather have a murder arm a la Nightmare/Megatron(s).

Stand alone Susano'o.

Demon arms are bland. There's nothing unique about ripping some other guys arm off and stapling it to your shoulder. Plus there's likely just as big a cost in chakra and will power for the demon arm. Nonnative body parts always require more chakra than usual in Narutoverse.

 

Since I'm seriously a bit confused by what people are assuming is the spider arm option even a spider arm option?
On first reading I kind of assumed it was about taking an arm from the things she's entrapping and getting away with it as opposed to hoping we can tear off hers.

from the way it's worded its less about channeling chakra and more trying to make a normal humanish arm that is actually made completely out of chakra so we'd have it always there, sort of how Bijuu look like animals with skin/fur/teeth/chitin but everything about them is actually made of Chakra.

I am pretty sure we are talking about an arm from her prey, not one of her arms.

 

Actually I approve of the chakra arm path BECAUSE we'd be doing more than being a ripoff Bijuu.

Think about it... literally we don't have the chakra needed to do it... we'd be literally ripping and ASSIMILATING chakra from the environment into our fake coils. To the point where it's likely our arm would be able to subborn and assimilate other chakra constructs with relative ease.

And it's probably the first step towards immortality as a 'chakra ghost'.


That said the Black arm Intrigues me, and some of what I just described above is kinda inevitable for us just because of the external chakra hack.


I'm definitely happy with either one of these winning.

 

Pretty much the same for me.

We can't take the usual bijuu way of doing it, meaning taking so much chakra that it simply works, not with our average mana reserves.
Thus we will have to do something creative.

And regarding the bound shiny - it is a great shiny.

So I am happy with either option winning.

You're assuming a lot, considering it made me think of Dark Souls.

 

We can totally have the demon arm aesthetic with the chakra arm, too. Without all the issues of, you know, possible demon possession. D:

Of course we'd likely be losing out on whatever crazy power up it'd give, but again, I'm a fan of my limbs doing what I tell them to do.

I picked it mostly for the interaction with spider youkai; don't care so much about the specifics of the arm.

I know possible possession issues, but I still think this will be awesome enough to make that worthwhile.
