Nothing I can just list man. Agenda Cursed Technique currently being posted is very fun. All time favourite fanfictions don't stay favourite for long - they are only great while written, and most fics die young. If there was one book I can always recommend it's Schweik.

The reason why Douluo 2 started out like his other works but devolved into a mess and Zhang Wei started self-inserting into Tang San completely is because his writing was consistently too awful that it pissed off one is his biggest donor-backer, who backed out and stopped giving money, causing him to throw a hissy fit

There's a "life randomizer" type video that's kind of fun, like reading a whole fanfiction story in under five minutes, by having all the important plot points being put onto a series of wheels to spin to pick what kind of OC you're gonna get this time, which is really popular with JJK, and also Douluo, because of how it has an unique worldview inclusivity due to trashy worldbuilding

Hey, what's up man. College and work are dominating my life right now, but I have made some progress on the project on my summer breaks.

This is why even his later stories, while looking like the other Chinese novels of the 2010's with harems and faceslap, always have a Japanese flavor.

Because there's a record of this, he wrote a lot of works outside of Douluo, you know, and his writing skill hasn't improved in the last fifteen or so years, and you can see the effect of his first wife on his works while she was alive.

Every main antagonist Zhang Wei writes is a woman with some kind of relation to the protagonist, because if the antagonist is a man without any relationship to the protagonist, then all of his protagonists in all his novels would be abused to death... so in a sense, it is kind of disgusting

Actually, Zhang Wei gets a cut from every secondary creation (fanfics, ai videos, cosplay, etc) pertaining to the "Douluo" IP (such as from bilbili, qq reader (tencent), douyin, etc), which is why even though it's a dead horse, he still beats it

Fanfic sites and platforms in China that allow authors to make money also require IP rights these days, which is why Zhang Wei has licensing agreements with all of them that matter, which is why there's always a flood of Douluo videos, stories, etc
