Plot of A Merchant's Odyssey is unchanged. I am editing for grammar and mistakes I made due to rushed writing - i wrote it in 30 days, and to catch up on it. I'm working on The Ouroboros Potioneer, and I can only do 1 extra chapter for side-stories a month. Each month I put up a poll to let readers vote on which side-story they want updated. Once Merchant is fully edited, it will be added.

For example, due to monthly tickets, Zhang Wei wrote a canon omake where Qian Xunji hypnotized Bibi Dong and Liu Erlong into loving Yu Xiaogang, hypnotized Bibi Dong into thinking she got raped by him, hypnotized Bibi Dong into hating him and killed him, all so "he can make a god", utterly changing canon plot setting.

Ok, so, I have a question for people in general. What is the point of an author asking the question for where the plot would go if their written work is already done and exclusive to paid subscribers? It's just so weird to me and I can't fathom how it works.

One, they can't do retcon the works posted on public cuz their subscribers are relying on the fact that they are reading exclusive future chapters.

Two, public reader review/replies are pointless...?

I am really confused. It's even worse when the author doesn't interact with their audience at all.

Regarding the 'beat 'em up' premise, tell me more about the setting, what's publicly known by the character who gets the power, and what access to research they have access to in terms of alternate worlds (ie, what kind of fandoms are you familiar with?)

How mercenary Zhang Wei is, you gotta know, as long as you pay with monthly tickets, you can insert your OCs into canon Douluo setting, you can change the underlying setting rules (for example life span lengths or god power levels), you can change canonical events, and you can even change or direct unwritten plot. Imagine how shit the writing is under such circumstances.
