I thought the whole point was that this perfect being had transcended the need to even care about evolutionary strategy.

 

You could spin it that said lifeform was optimized for a clannish social structure rather than natural selection. Political marriages could be performed between any two (or more) individuals, and still produce heirs.

It probably wouldn't be a natural adaptation, but anything with the words ultimate or perfect in it is immediately suspect on that front. Not that the distinction matters at all.

 

Being that doesn't care about evolutionary strategy tend to already extinct, or will be soon.

 

Again, I thought we were talking about an individual, not a species. This doesn't exactly apply.

Scenario 1: Take over the world with my immense dark side powers. Heavily Research rejuvenation methods, both scientific and dark side so I don't stay a wrinkled prune forever. (Probably unlikely to work out for me in the long run.)

Scenario 2: Rule my already existing empire and fix all the blatant security problems that lead to my death. Kill Darth Vader. Make Mara Jade my new apprentice but teach her to never even consider overthrowing me. Transfer my mind into a young clone body of myself and rule the Empire for all eternity after using my meta-knowledge to crush the Rebellion. Keep Luke alive but ignorant to avoid other Chosen Ones being born outside my influence.
